Ricky Lynn Taylor, 61 of the Rhea Community passed away December 14, 2022 in Amarillo. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, December 18, 2022 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY with Celebration of Life Services scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, December 19, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Friona with Jeff Procter, minister, officiating. Burial in the Rhea Community Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Ricky was born July 7, 1961 in Hereford, Texas to Norman Ray and Gaylene Morton Taylor. Ricky was a longtime farmer and rancher. He loved his family, animals, joking around, music, and dancing. He was a fun, light-hearted person.

He is preceded in death by his dad Norman Taylor.

Those to carry on his legacy include his wife Gail Taylor of Rhea, 1 son-Cody Snyder of Friona, mother-Gaylene Taylor of Rhea, 1 sister-Shannon Malone and husband Mike of Mesquite, 2 grandchildren-Abraham and Aubry, nieces and nephews-Joran and Laura Malone and numerous cousins.
