Obituary

Robin Elmo Baize, 68, of Friona passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025 in Amarillo. Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at 6th Street Church of Christ in Friona on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Jeff Procter, officiating.   Arrangements entrusted to HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Robin was born August 22, 1957, in Hereford to Duane and Jean (Clark) Baize of Friona.  He graduated from Friona High School in 1975.   Robin worked for Campbell Electric for 25 years. He loved spending time outdoors -- fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, and playing baseball.  He also enjoyed helping coach Little League baseball for several years, sharing his love of the game with others.

On October 18, 1995, Robin married Jennifer Brockman in Friona.  They shared many wonderful years together until Jennifer's passing on June 10, 2022.

Robin is survived by his twin sons, Logan and wife Kimberly of Amarillo;  Morgan and wife Autumn of Nashville, Tennessee; and Andrew Diaz and wife Kenia of Tucumcari, NM.    He is also survived by his grandchildren:  Kylee, Cooper, Brylee, Addy, and Lynnox Baize; and Adan and Aubrey Diaz.

Robin is also survived by his three brothers, S.D. Baize of Flower Mound, Texas; Danny and wife Connie Baize of Roscoe, Texas; and Randy Baize of Friona;  sisters-in-law, Lisa Neill of Friona, Cara Speer, Laura Brockman, and Valerie Greene; brother-in-law Nathan Brockman; and the mother of his children, Myrna Hill of Amarillo.  He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Jean Baize; his wife, Jennifer; his son Drew Baize; his brother-in-law Mark Neill; his father-in-law Tommy Brockman; and his mother-in-law Pat Waller.

Robin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to  Prairie Acres Nursing Home, 201 E. 15th, St. Friona, TX  79035, or to a charity of your choice.
