Rogelio Velasquez III, 24 of Bovina passed away December 16, 2025 in Clovis. Viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday December 22, 2025 in the Ron Smiley Memorial chapel of the funeral home with Rosary Services at 6:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial Services set for 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina with Father Nick Gerber as Celebrant. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery entrusted to HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Rogelio was born September 19, 2001 in Houston to Rogelio Velasquez Jr. and Rita Stephanie Castillo. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his son Eddie. He enjoyed music and loved to sing.  Friends and family knew him as a very kind and good young man.

Those to mourn his passing include his son-Eddie Lucero of Bovina, parents-Rogelio Velasquez Jr. of Pasadena, Texas and his mother-Rita Stephanie Castillo of Bovina, brothers-Elijah Gallegos of Bovina, Gabriel Gonzales of LaPorte, Texas and Michael Noah Velasquez of Pasadena, Texas, sisters-Emma Olivia Velasquez and Mia Abagail Velasquez, both of Pasadena, Texas.
