Roland Allen Goforth, 64 of Farwell passed away Friday June 1, 2018 in Farwell. There will be a private family burial at a later date at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Pleasant Hill, N.M.

Roland lived most of his life in Farwell and was self employed, specializing in construction and excavation.

He is survived by his step-mother, Ruby Goforth, of Clovis; a sister, Karol Cook, of New Athens, Ill.; a brother, Steve Chancy, of Clovis; sister Susan Tipton, of Tahoka, Texas, and grandchildren Morghan, Cody and Marcus Stewart, of Denton.

He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Elwood "Woody" Goforth; a sister, Dorothy, and 2 brothers, Bobby and Joe Ed.
