Rosalba Martinez, 41, of Friona passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be Friday, March 23, 2012 at 4:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Friona with Pastor Ruben Rivera of Temple Of Adoration Church officiating, burial to follow at Friona Cemetery. Public viewing will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the church. There will be a service on Wednesday at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Aurelio Silva officiating and again on Thursday evening at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Roy Dominguez officiating. The church doors will close both evenings at midnight. Arrangements are being handled by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Rosalba was born April 3, 1970 in Calvillo Agvascalientes, Mexico to Daniel and Catalina Lopez Gandara. Rosalba has been a resident of Friona for 15 years. She and Jose have been married for over 20 years. She was a member of the Temple of Adoration Church of Friona. She is survived by her husband Jose Martinez of Friona, two sons, Francisco Martinez of Friona and Daniel Martinez of Mexico, and one daughter, Jackenine Martinez of Friona; her father, Daniel Gandara of Mexico, four sisters and six brothers. She is preceded in death by her mother, Catalina.
