Sara Roman De Escobedo, 83 of California passed away on May 24, 2022 in Amarillo. Services are scheduled at a later date in Santa Maria De Los Angeles, Jalisco, Mexico. Arrangements by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Sara was born on December 1, 1938 in Santa Maria De Los Angeles, Jalisco, Mexico to Miguel Roman Marquez and Angela Robles Marquez. She was an excellent mother and grandmother. She took care of her family and she was a hard worker. Sara was very faithful and helped in her church. She loved to crochet, and she was a great cook, with everyone loving her gorditas the best.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Nicolas Escobedo Martinez, 2 sons- Juan Manuel Escobedo Roman, and Carlos Escobedo Roman.

Those to carry on her legacy include Nicolas Escobedo Roman of Los Angeles, Alejandro Escobedo Roman and wife Hilda of Indiana, Jose de Jesus Escobedo Roman and wife Nancy of Los Angeles, Maria Campos and husband Roberto of La Puente, Irene Gonzalez and family of Hereford, Maria Teresa Valdez and husband Gonzalo of Los Angeles, Monica Escobedo Roman of Jalisco, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
