Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Mr. Acosta was born January 4, 1970 in Mexico to Jesus Manuel and Esperanza Marquez Acosta. He was a long time employee of Cargill Meat Solutions in Friona. Survivors include his wife Elia Acosta, 2 daughters Brenda Acosta, Anaruth Acosta, and 1 son Sergio Acosta Jr. and mother Esperanza Acosta all of Friona, 1 brother-Luis Acosta of Garden City, Kansas, 3 sisters-Ofelia Acosta of Phoenix, AZ, Graciela Acosta of Friona and Oralia Acosta of Mexico, and 1 granddaughter.
