Teresa Ann Burkart, 62 of Friona passed away April 27, 2023 in Lubbock. Memorial Services will be held at a later date . Cremation arrangements by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Teresa was born January 13, 1961 in Athens, Tennessee to Clifford Lee and Annie Laura McKelvey Nunley. She worked at several restaurants in years past, and at Cargill Meat Solutions for over 20 years. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, taking care of her cat Sam, and watching TV, especially the SYFY channel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Annie, 1 son-Charlie Burkart, 1 brother-Tony Nunley.

Those to mourn her passing include 1 son-Dusty Stowers of Friona,  granddaughter Makayla Day and husband DeShane of Amarillo, 2 other grandchildren Isabella and Lucas, and 2 great- grandchildren -Havyn and Carson.
