Wanda Peace, 86 of Friona passed away April 24, 2021 in Friona. Viewing will be held from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 29, 2021 in the Ron Smiley Memorial Chapel of HANSARD FAMILY. Celebration of Life Graveside Services scheduled for 10:30 A.M.  Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Friona Cemetery with Rev. Brett Hoyle, officiating. Burial following in the Friona Cemetery by HANSARD FAMILY Funeral Home of Friona.

Wanda was born March 10, 1935 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Chuck and Eva Cannon Atwood. She later married Bobby Gene Peace in 1950.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was known to be a hard working, very strong woman that loved birds and dancing.

She is preceded in death by her father, and husband.

Those that mourn her passing include her mother Eva Atwood of Lubbock, 4 sons-James Peace and wife Nancy, Roger Peace and wife Robin, all of Friona, Ray Peace of Vernon, and Weldon Peace and wife Linda of Table Rock, Missouri, 2 sisters-Dorothy Thomas of Norman, OK, Lavada Eagle of Grants, N.M., 1 brother-Lee Atwood of Slaton. 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
