Yvonne Stevenson, 82 of Bovina died April 21, 2017 in Clovis. Graveside Services have been scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Bovina Cemetery with Rev. Larry Mitchell, pastor of the Bovina United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial following in the Bovina Cemetery by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona.

Yvonne was born August 18, 1934 in Cook County, Texas to Elijah Horace and Mildred Ethel Shaw Moody. She married Oakley Stevenson September 15, 1954 in Clovis. She was a longtime member of the Bovina United Methodist Church where she was very active in many organizations. She was also active in the Bovina community including the bridge club. She loved to cook, and crochet, but her greatest love was to serve and give from goodness and a servant's heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 brother- Alfred Moody.

Survivors include 1 son-Stephen Stevenson and wife Karen of Farwell, 1 daughter-Annette Stevenson-Larson and husband Eddie of Pfafftown, North Carolina, 2 sisters-Louise Hawkins and husband Gene of Lubbock, Sue Phillips of Dimmitt, 1 brother-Weldon Moody of Plainview, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
