HANSARD FAMILY  Funeral Home is the former Blackwell Funeral Home and has been dedicated to providing professional service to families of Friona, Bovina, Farwell, Lazbuddie, Oklahoma Lane, Lariat, and the surrounding area of Texas and New Mexico from the same location since 1955. After graduating from Mortuary School, I was employed by Mr. John Blackwell and have been right here in this same location serving Parmer County and area families for almost 25 years. 

We serve every family in our county and area with honesty, integrity, and trust. We offer a wide range of services to meet every family’s needs and customs. Whether in your home church, our chapel, or at the graveside, we will listen to you and your wishes carefully to help plan a celebration consistent with your expectations. We will take the time to plan every detail and help to relieve the burden on your family during your time of grief. Our family has suffered loss as well, and because of that, we know the personal nature of loss, grief, and the new normal that we are left with. Personal to you means personal to us.
